The Oyster Bay PS Library is currently housed on both sites of the school. The K-2 site houses the May Gibbs’ collection which comprises a range of fiction and non fiction resources suitable for K-2 users.

All of the May Gibbs’ resources are barcoded and entered onto the Library database. A  portable barcode reader is used for circulation and information is downloaded into the Oasis system in the 3-6 Department.

Students in classes on the K-2 site have a weekly library lesson where they develop their literature skills and take advantage of the opportunity to borrow from the May Gibbs’ Collection.
