Our Public Speaking program is implemented across the school from Kindergarten to Year 6. A feature of term 3 is the Public Speaking Competition, which culminates in finals for all stages held in one day. All students prepare a speech as part of their work in English to present to their peers. From these speeches students are selected to participate in the school finals.

At these school finals, a district level Adjudicator judges them and from this they then represent the school in the District Competition.

As with many of our extra curricula programs, Oyster Bay has a successful history of achievement at this level with a number of children going on to be represent at regional level.
