Home / K-2 Computer Laboratory
    • Oyster Bay PS K-2 site has had access to a networked computer laboratory over the last few years. All classes regularly receive computer education lessons in the lab as part of their weekly learning program.

The children have access to the latest painting and drawing programs where not only can they produce creative pictures, but they can also incorporate other types of technology such as digital camera images to develop slideshow presentations.

  • They utilise a 'thought web' program as part of their integrated learning program; as well as using various components of the Microsoft Office package to consolidate their overall learning experience.

The school is currently investigating the possibility of fully networking the entire K-2 site to enable all classes to access the internet within the classroom environment, and also upgrading the lab which we currently have.
