In the event of a child becoming ill at school, the Parent or Guardian will be informed by telephone as soon as possible.  If a parent cannot be contacted, the emergency contact person, listed by the parent on school records, will be contacted. 

The decision for further action will then rest with the person contacted.  If however, neither is available, and the pupil’s condition appears to warrant medical attention, arrangements will be made by the School for the child to be taken to a local doctor or Casualty section of a hospital. 

Please notify us immediately of any changes to your address, telephone number and emergency contact person to keep office records up-to-date.
