Although the school is K-6, the K-2 and 3-6 Departments are located on separate sites, 200 metres apart. Although this unique situation creates some difficulties in terms of administration and organisation, it also provides many opportunities not available in other schools. Our K-2 students have the opportunity to be introduced to Primary School in a smaller and less intimidating environment. It also provides an excellent opportunity for our Year 2 students to adopt leadership roles on the K-2 Site before heading to our 3-6 Site in Year 3.

Opportunities are provided regularly to combine all students for special activities e.g. sports afternoons, special assemblies, environmental initiatives, school celebrations and visiting performers.  Our 'Buddy Class' system also provides an excellent opportunity for students from both sites to work together.

Staff Meetings for school planning and policy-making are held each week K-6 as well as each site's staff having individual meetings to deal with site specific issues.
